Accessibility
Effective August 1, 2026
Buying or refinancing a home is stressful enough. I want this site, and the way I work with you, to be usable however you get online.
The standard I aim for
This site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
What that means here
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to main content" link.
- Headings, landmarks and form labels are marked up so screen readers can navigate the page.
- Text contrast meets AA, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px wide.
- Text resizes to 200% without loss of content, and nothing relies on colour alone to make sense.
- Images carry alternative text, and no content flashes or auto-plays.
Known limitations
Some tools I link to — the Pineapple rate and pre-approval pages, and Google Calendar booking — are run by other companies and I cannot control their accessibility. If you hit a barrier on one of them, call or email me and we will complete the same step together by phone.
Another format, or a hand
If any part of this site does not work for you, I will supply the same information in another format — large print, plain text, email, or simply a conversation — at no cost. There is no form to fill in and no reason needed. Just ask.
Tell me about a problem
Contact me and say what page you were on and what went wrong. I aim to reply within one business day and to fix genuine barriers as quickly as I can.
